TDCD Welcomes Aaron Kuzemchak

Headshot of Aaron

It's unbelievable how time flies when you're incredibly busy. It's shameful really that it's taken me this long, but I would be remiss if I didn't take a moment to introduce Aaron Kuzemchak. Aaron gets the honor, after all, of being the first full time employee (besides yours truly) as TDCD charts its course towards world domination.

Aaron joined me here on Boulevard back in August and promptly rammed through the backlog of work I had. Mostly development work which I'm not too keen on (probably why it had become such a backlog). I spent most of September desperately trying to get enough work lined up for two people instead of just one. This is characterized by taking any work which meets the following requirements: Will it go online? Yes! Does it require Flash? No! Okay, we'll do it! By October we we're once again chugging along at a good pace -- one that I think we will do well to continue.

At any rate, Aaron's degree in interactive media made him a good candidate for the job here. His penchant for web standards and attention to detail made him a great candidate. As an added bonus, he manages to keep up with advancements in the world of content management and publishing systems far better than I ever could. He's even been known to email me links on the subject over the course of a weekend. This either makes him an incredible geek, or a fairly dedicated employee. My guess is that it's more than a bit of both.
