Blogging 101 Workshop
The ladies at Right Angle Consulting and I conducted our first ever Blogging 101 Workshop for a beta group this morning. The response from our small group of six business owners and managers was very positive. We're excited about getting this content in front of a Richmond audience and we've confirmed Tuesday, August 22nd September (date TBA) as the date for our first real class. Location TBA.
Update: We've moved the first official workshop to September. The combination of vacations and loads of work for both our companies made it impossible for us to put in the effort necessary to pull it together like we want. Stay tuned for exact date and time.
There's a real business case for blogging, so we aim to give attendees a mix of background on blogging, an introduction to the technology, and a frame of reference for blogging as a marketing initiative. Basically, we want folks to leave knowing the tools for blogging and techniques for success, along with talking points they can use to get a blog started at their organization.
We're off to a good start and even with less than a month to get all the bits nailed down, I can tell this is going to come together well. Keep an eye on the blog for more info on location/costs, etc., or subscribe to our mailing list and we'll let you know.
